Twisted Ankle

Pain in the Middle of the Night

The following day the member received an MRI, a week later the primary care physician followed up with the member to explain it is tendonitis and went over next steps for care.
Middle of the night provider visit $0, MRI $300, this amount goes to the annual $3,000 max out of pocket and if surgery was needed would be deducted from the patient responsibility amount, bringing the cost down to $700 for the surgery. Follow up visit $0.
